The nursery provides a sound, well-balanced Montessori foundation within an EYFS framework for children age 2 - 4. It is validated to receive free entitlement and there is a minimum commitment of 2 sessions each week. We operate during school terms only.
Established in 1992, it continues to flourish and maintain a reputation of high quality provision. Situated in the country town of Epping it is convenient to many surrounding towns and villages. Parking facilities are provided on the premises.
It is equipped with an extensive range of resources and the children are encouraged to use the materials with care helping them learn respect for their environment and consideration for others.
Staff have been selected for their ability to provide warm and consistent care. All hold relevant qualifications with experience and a full understanding for the needs and developmental level of children. An appropriate teacher:child ratio is maintained at all times. The needs of the children are met through careful observation and real listening, with a genuine concern for the happiness and fulfilment of each individual.
The environment is spacious, bright, well-maintained and provides a warm, secure and relaxed atmosphere conducive to their well-being.It is arranged to allow each child to move freely inviting them to explore & be motivated.Simple rules encourage children to develop, stay safe and co-operate in preparation for school.
By providing a supportive yet challenging environment, fun filled and rich in experience yet mindful of the child's capabilities and needs, their learning experience in these early, most formative years, will influence their whole approach to learning.
